A Lagos homeowner raised the alarm after witnessing contractors working on a partially fallen structure in Lekki, Lagos State.
The resident clarified that despite some of the building collapsing, the developers remain adamant on continuing to build the defective structure.

He urged the government to step in and make sure the proper action is taken to prevent innocent people’s lives from being lost.

“A few days ago, this building partially collapsed,” the worried bystander said. “Now they’re attempting to fix it themselves rather than calling the authorities.”

“This building is meant to be demolished, not what they’re doing. The authorities must come here,” he continued.
