Ikuru Monarch, 12 Passengers, Lecturer Still In Den, 14 Days After Kidnap

Two weeks and one day have passed since the two well-known people from Rivers State’s Andoni Local Government Area were abducted.
Additionally, it has been exactly twelve weeks when unidentified gunmen along the Bonny Waterways stole a boat carrying twelve passengers.

Sadly, two weeks after the incident, the whereabouts of the victims of the hijacked boat and the abducted victims in Andoni remain unknown.

When asked what steps the Rivers State Police Command is taking to guarantee the victims’ release, spokesman Nnamdi Omoni replied that the command is making all effort to guarantee the victims’ rescue.

“We are working seriously to ensure that they are released,” stated Omoni. Twelve boat passengers were also hijacked on the Bonny Waterway.
