Nigerians’ concerns over the dollar’s steady increase have been allayed by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, who said that the value of the US dollar will soon plummet in comparison to the Naira.
The governor stated that every effort is being made by the federal government to fulfill its electoral pledges.

During a stakeholders’ meeting on Thursday in the Cultural Center in Abeokuta, Abiodun stated as much.

In light of the nation’s ongoing economic difficulties, the governor called the conference and declared that the administration is not sitting back.

Abiodun emphasized that the federal government is aware of the issues and prepared to deal with them head-on. He derived his confidence from an emergency meeting with President Bola Tinubu earlier on Wednesday.
“I want to reassure you that this current economic downturn is only temporary and will end soon. Whatever it is that we go through today is only a necessary sacrifice for a better tomorrow.

We would especially want to express our gratitude to His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, for his unceasing efforts in navigating the intricacies of our country’s economic environment.

“We have taken note of his dedication in guiding the ship through these trying times.”
