Dollar Will Crash Against Naira In Less Than A Month – Gov Abiodun

Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, has arrogantly predicted that in one month the dollar will plummet in value relative to the naira, the currency of Nigeria.

Speaking on Thursday at a stakeholder gathering held at the Cultural Center, Kuto Abeokuta, Abiodun predicted that the nation’s ongoing economic problems will soon cause the Naira to surpass the Dollar.

He said that this forecast was made in the wake of President Bola Tinubu’s urgent meeting with the governors, highlighting the fact that the Federal Government is fully aware of the problems at hand and ready to address them head-on.

“I promise that in less than a month, the dollar will plummet. We are reassured by the President’s meeting, and we now know that saboteurs exist.

He stated that the government would start the process of resolving the accumulated deductions.

He stated that in order to address the pending deductions, the government has decided to set aside N500 million per month as a starting step. It is noteworthy to emphasize that for the past eight months, the government has continuously given all civil officials a travel allowance of N10,000.

The governor of Ogun State declared, “This brings our total immediate interventions as a responsible State Government to about N5 billion across all sectors of the State economy.”

He thanked the people for their cooperation, tolerance, and resiliency and underlined that his administration would be sensitive to the challenges they faced.
