A drug dealer who was apprehended by the Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) along with another suspect revealed that he sells hard drugs for N3.6 million a year.

Olukoya Ayodele, 26, and Victor Godwin, 30, were detained in the Alausa neighborhood of Ikeja, Lagos, after officers from the RRS Decoy team conducted an intelligence gathering mission to find evidence of illicit drug distribution in the area. The suspects admitted to purchasing and peddling a variety of hard drugs, including Indian hemp, kunk, Tramadol, Refnol, Diazal, and others, to local factory workers.

Information surfaced that Ayodele, a well-known member of the Aye cult and purported Information Management graduate, was apprehended using charms that he said he had employed to shield himself from other rival cult members when he was a student.

Victor claimed to be the proprietor of a boutique and informed the newsmen that he dealt hard drugs to augment his earnings. He went on to say that he planned to get married shortly and felt his boutique salary would not be sufficient to support his marriage, and so utilized the money from the illegal company to pay his rent.
