Dikko Radda, the governor of Katsina State, has urged the populace to take self-defense precautions in reaction to frequent bandit attacks.

The governor stressed the value of community involvement in conjunction with government efforts to address insecurity at a lengthy emergency security meeting that took place at the Government House in Katsina on Friday.

Governor Radda urged citizens to organize groups devoted to their safety and emphasized the importance of proactive community involvement. She also suggested a move toward more independent security measures.

Notable people attended the summit, which aimed to address the state’s growing security concerns. These individuals included state security leaders, members of the business community, and the emirs of Katsina and Daura, Drs. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman and Umar Farouq Umar.
