Government of Ogun Lifts Ban on NURTW Activities

Governor Dapo Abiodun’s administration in Ogun State has made the decision to lift the prohibition on the National Union of Road Transport Workers’ (NURTW) operations within the State.

According to Alabareports, Gbenga Dairo, the state’s commissioner of transportation, informed the Union’s national leadership on Friday of the new development.

He underlined that the decision’s goal is to promote an environment that is favorable to peace and growth in the transportation sector.

Aliyu Issa Ọrẹ, the union’s acting national president, responded by thanking the union for the decision and admonishing all members to abide by the rules controlling the organization’s activities as well as national legislation.
