Tiwa Savage joins Nollywood, announces debut movie

Well-known vocalist Tiwa Savage has entered the film business as an actress and producer.
The single mother announced that she would be starring in her first film, “Water and Garri,” which will be released later this year.
She clarified that the film will be screened in more than 240 countries and territories globally after being released on the massive streaming service Prime Video.
On Wednesday, Savage announced this on her social media accounts.
“Hey guys, I’m really happy to announce that my first feature film, #WaterAndGarri, will be available on @primevideo this year and be screened in over 240 countries and territories worldwide!” she wrote.After more than two years of work, I have to admit that this is certainly one of the most exciting and rewarding things I’ve ever done.completed. In addition to being making my feature film debut, I feel privileged and humbled to have executive produced this movie.
