Rainbow College, Lagos has awarded five post-primary education scholarships to underprivileged students in partnership with Bridge International Academies and Pistis Foundation.

According to a statement released by Rainbow College, a limited number of students who had proven their academic ability, shown promise for leadership, and shown a desire to positively impact their communities while coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds were given the scholarships, which were confirmed by partner organizations.

Four students in all—two Bridge International Academies alums and two from Pistis Foundations’ “Kids-Off-The-Street” (KOTS) shelter program—accepted the scholarships and are currently enrolled at Rainbow College, according to the statement.

The purpose of these scholarships is to provide students with the financial freedom to pursue post-primary education. By giving bright kids who want to pursue post-secondary education high-quality Rainbow College seeks to open doors to future opportunities and provide a platform for success for the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers who otherwise would not have access to it, the statement stated.
