Police invite Phyna over failure to return rented wig

The Nigeria Police have invited Josephine Otabor, better known as “Phyna,” the former Big Brother Naija winner, over her alleged refusal to return a rented wig after the rental period has ended. A hair vendor recently called out Phyna for allegedly refusing to return a “rented” wig after the rental period has expired.
In a recent video posted on her social media profile, Phyna—who had before denied the accusations—admitted renting the wig. She claimed that she had returned it after being called out, but the hair vendor had rejected it.
She said that she chose to keep the wig because the harm the hair dealer caused her outweighed the wig’s cost.
The hair dealer, she added, arrived at her home with a few police officers, and upon discovering her absence, they left a letter.
“I have visitors in my house,” Phyna said in a phone call she received yesterday. She identified them as two police officers, a woman, and a hairstylist when I inquired who they were. She claimed not to know the woman when I inquired who she was.
They also left a letter behind. I want to know what to do because it’s from the cops. “This is the Nigeria Police,” it says. A request for assistance from the police. My address and name are now there. “From the DPO Nigeria Police Ogudu,” it continued. Although I’m not sure where Ogudu is, I’ll investigate.
