24 alleged drug traffickers and dealers have been taken into custody by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency agents in eight states.
While delivering thousands of hidden opioid pills to the rebels’ encampment in Banki, Borno state, a 42-year-old man was arrested.

In addition, three other ladies and a six-month pregnant lady were among those detained in Lagos, Anambra, Abuja, Kano, Ondo, and Edo.
The agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, revealed this in a statement on Sunday.
The statement said, “A total of 24 suspected drug traffickers and dealers have been arrested in major cities. These include a 42-year-old man who transported thousands of covert opioid pills to the insurgents’ encampment in the Banki area of Borno State, a woman who is six months pregnant, a mother of three children, and three other women.interdiction efforts by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) agents resulted in the discovery of more than 7,609 kg of various illegal narcotics throughout eight states.
