NSCDC boss tasks Divisional Officers on community participation
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Commandant for the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Olusola Odumosu, has directed the command’s Heads to constantly include the community in security operations.
On Wednesday in Abuja, Odumosu delivered the charge to Divisional Officers at the Command’s headquarters.
In order to eliminate the present security threats in the Federal Capital Territory, he stressed that everyone needed to be involved.
But in order to get the desired outcomes, the commandant emphasized the significance of interacting and engaging with the many stakeholders.
He also gave the officers orders to collaborate closely with vigilantes, hunters, youth organizations, traditional leaders, and vigilantes to stop the rising number of kidnappings and other crimes in the Federal Capital Territory.
