My cancel culture was started by Banky W – Samklef

Samklef, a seasoned record producer and vocalist from Nigeria, has accused Banky W, a well-known musician and music businessman, of starting the cancel culture in the country’s music business.

He further claimed that because the EME chairman also harassed his past signees, Banky W is not speaking out in favor of the late rapper Mohbad, who passed away purportedly as a result of bullying at the hands of his old record company, Marlian Music.

On Tuesday, Samklef made the claims using his confirmed X handle.

Though he chose to speak forward so that others could benefit, he claimed to have forgiven Banky W.

“Banky W, the person who started my personal cancel culture in 2012 with one of his friends in Soundcity,” the author said.He’s a pastor now, hehe.

“Colleague artists,Now is the moment to talk about your real experiences! Do not think twice! Many of them know they are involved in this, which is why they don’t say anything about it. They weren’t only as aggressive as Naira Marley!

“Even though I’ve forgiven, I’ll still share my experience to help others learn.”
