Nigerian musician Okafor Uchenna Victor, better known by his stage name Mr Real, has criticized Mr. Eazi and D’banj for allegedly having debt.Speaking on the most recent episode of the Terms & Conditions podcast, Mr. Real stated that he has not yet received payment from D’banj and Mr. Eazi for their respective collaborations on the tracks “Issa Banger” and “Overload.”
He said that neither of them was returning his calls or messages.
With D’banj, I have a song. We made the song, “Issa Banger,” together with my producer, Cracker, and Slimcase, who I invited on board. The music was amazing. And we had a great time filming the video. Not because I don’t appreciate what you’ve done, mind you. Give me what is rightfully mine, nevertheless. It’s mine.correct.”I haven’t received any royalties, even though the song is being used in American movies,” he bemoaned.
“There was no contract when we recorded ‘Overload,'” Mr. Real said. A divided sheet is not present. Mr. Eazi did not give me any gifts. There is nothing as of yet.
