Mr Raw pioneered Igbo rap – Slow Dog

The Igbo rap pioneer has been acknowledged by indigenous rapper Slow Dog as his colleague Mr. Raw, formerly known as Nigga Raw.

He claimed that the “Obodo” crooner opened the door for Igbo rap, which is now helping today’s rappers.

This was said by Slow Dog in a recent video message posted on his Instagram page.

“I go by the name Slow Dog,” he said. I would want to present flowers to my employer, Mr. Raw, also known as Nigga Raw, who is the pioneer of Igbo rap from which we currently benefit.

“Thank you for everything, Mr. Raw.”

Days prior, Igbo rapper Odumodublvck asserted that no music business icon or veteran had ever cleared the path for an artist in Nigeria.
