“I’d like to take Burna Boy out on a date.” — Lauren James

According to Lauren James, a forward for Chelsea FC Women, she wouldn’t mind going out to dinner with Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name Burna Boy.

In a recent interview with Sky News, the 22-year-old revealed this along with the list of three persons she would like to have dinner with.

“Three people you would invite over for dinner?” asked the interviewer.

James: “Kevin Hart, the interviewer, is a really humorous guy. An opera singer would most likely be the third person. Burna Boy is probably what I would say.
Apparently during Nigeria vs. England in the FIFA Women’s World Cup round of 16, Lauren James caused a stir in Nigeria by trampling on Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie.

Later, she sent Alozie an apology over social media.
