“I wish I sang some of Omah Lay and Fireboy’s songs” – Oxlade

Nigerian artist Oxlade has openly admitted that he wishes he had the rights to some of his coworkers’ top songs.

The “woman” crooner recently admitted in an interview with Beat 99.9 FM that he would have wanted to sing “You” by Omah Lay.

In addition to expressing his desire to possess the popular song, he also stated that he would have loved to have been the singer of “King” by Fireboy.

He stated:

“The song I really wish I could have sang… They are actually two. There is Omah Lay’s song “You.” I feel like my vocals would slay that tune.

After that ‘King’ by Fireboy is one example. That tune… I truly desired to be the singer of “King” for the first time in my life. Fireboy is my closest pal. We are quite near.
