I Made My First Million At 17, Gave Everything To My Mother – Rema

Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, is a prominent Afrobeats artist from Nigeria. He has revealed that at the age of 17, he earned his first million dollars and gave it to his mother.

He said that his mother required the funds more urgently than he did, forcing him to make that choice.

This was revealed by the Dumebi crooner in a recent interview with Z100 New York.

He claimed he gave his mum the entire sum of money.

The person I knew needed it more, according to Rema, was my mother. I then gave her everything I had created. As a 17-year-old, I remember thinking it was awesome to cruise the city in a cool whip. But if my mother didn’t have a car or needed my keys, I couldn’t drive a cool whip.
