I had panic attack over piracy of ‘Malaika’ – Toyin Abraham

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham said on Tuesday that she experienced panic attacks and had been hospitalized on several occasions as a result of her film’s piracy.Speaking with reporters in Lagos, Abraham revealed that five people had been arrested by the police in connection with the illegal film “Malaika,” which cost N500 million to produce, as reported by the actress.
Abraham, who said that she has joined the battle against pirates, applauded the police for acting on their words by apprehending the culprits, and particularly AIG IG Idowu Owohunwa.Prior to this, the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos, announced that it had taken five suspects into custody, two of them were women, in connection with the purported movie piracy.
