Before Olamide, the CEO of YBNL Nation and a legendary rapper, agreed to sign him to the record company, Asake, a Nigerian vocalist, pleaded Olamide for over two years.The rapper asked the “Mr Money” crooner if he would want to join his record label and invited him to his house one day. The singer hesitantly accepted.
He claimed Olamide advised him to consult a lawyer and understand the terms of the agreement, but he was too eager and signed right away.

You find it incomprehensible that someone you like, someone you look up to, someone you’ve been dying to see, would ask you that. I told him I was prepared. “Go and think about it,” he added.
