The delivery happened at a private hospital in Lagos, NAN reports. The 37-week-old infant was born on Tuesday via caesarian delivery following conception via in vitro fertilization (IVF).
The infant was born in the Advanced Fertility Centre and StrongTower Hospital, a private medical facility located in Lagos.
Akinade, who was married in 1992 but never had children, said this to NAN on Thursday in Lagos.
Akinade claimed to have undergone several gynecological procedures, including three unsuccessful IVF cycles.
She said that her husband had been supportive of the fourth IVF attempt, which had been successful, and that they both continued to be hopeful.that they would have a child from God
