Fortune Ebel

Fortune Ovie Ebel is a Nigerian-born certified Lyricist, also a psalmist, Songwriter and singer from Uzere and Ughelli Delta State.

He was born to the family of Mr Samuel and Mrs Hannah Ebel of Uzere in Isoko South Local Government Area and he is the fifth born of seven siblings.

Aside his academical sojourn, Fortune obtained certification as a Lyricist in the Heart of Christ School of Worship, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He officially started his music Career in March 2012 in the city of Ughelli Delta State having been officially prayer for and commissioned by Bishop Simeon Okah, the General Overseer of Flock of Christ Mission worldwide.

Fortune had his first failed attempt moving to Lagos State in 2010 and came back in 2013. He has since released several beautiful singles such as: Be Glorified, My Rock, Source Of My Being, Your Spirit and more.

Fortune has had the opportunity to work with various indigenous and international psalmists like Sinach, Tim Godfrey, Onos, Donnie McClurkin, Eben among others.

In 2018, he released his single “Be Glorified”. The song has become an anthem, especially in House On The Rock Churches across the country.

In 2020, his single “Source of My Being” was selected as one of the two worship songs performed by the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir (The official choir for House On the Rock) in the Experience 15. Another single, “My Rock” is fast becoming a favorite on the lips of worshipers across Nigeria m

Most recently in August 2022, he was featured as one of the guest lead psalmist that included the likes of Mercy Chinwo, Dunsin Oyekan, Moses Bliss at The African Praise Experince (T.A.P.E) at the House On The Rock Church Lagos.

Fortune serves at the House on the Rock Church Lagos under his pastor, The Metropolitan Paul Adefarasin. He is also a Lead Psalmist in the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir – LMGC (Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir).

He is the Leader of a viable music community called KingdomRealm – a people advancing the kingdom of heaven here on earth, through the tool of spirit-filled music and sharing the rhema word across the nations of the earth.
