Former UNILAG VC urges govt to invest in defence technology

Modern technology should be invested in by governments at all levels, according to Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, a former vice-chancellor of the University of Lagos. This will increase the nation’s ability to manage security concerns and protect its citizens.At the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Ikorodu, Ogundipe made this claim on Friday.
His speech was part of the institution’s inaugural Founder’s Day lecture, with the theme being “Nation Building Through Innovation, Science, and Technology.”
