Federal Government Promises To Reward Super Eagles For Reaching 2023 AFCON Final

The Federal Government of Nigeria will give the Super Eagles a gift for qualifying to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final, which is scheduled for Wednesday, February 7, in Ivory Coast.
This is consistent with a statement posted on the Super Eagles’ official Instagram page earlier today, February 8.
Along with the vice president of the country, Kashim Shettima, the Instagram page also had several group shots of the Super Eagles with Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun) and Duoye Diri (Bayelsa).

Among the other luminaries featured are FIFA Council member Amaju Pinnick, oil magnate Wale Tinubu, and NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
Shortly after the Super Eagles defeated South Carolina, the pictures were taken in their locker room.Bafana Bafana of Africa advances to the AFCON semifinals in 2023 thanks to penalties.
Recall that South Africa and Nigeria played in a penalty shootout after their 1-1 draw in regulation time. The Eagles’ goaltender, Stanley Nwabali, blocked two of the penalties to send Nigeria to the championships
