Enugu Rangers signs six players, sends six on loan

Six new players have arrived ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League’s (NPFL) return on February 14, which would help Enugu Rangers’ chances of making it to the continent in the 2023–24 season.Norbert Okolie, the media officer for Enugu Rangers, has identified the six new players as follows: center defender Uchenna Ezeala, who came from Go-Round FC; support striker Zulkifilu Mohammed Rabiu, who came from Lobi Stars; and central attacker Odo Joshua Chidiebere, who can play on either flank. Chidiebere from the Saudi Arabian league is joining the Flying Antelopes.
The other newcomers are left-winger Nebo Tochukwu Kingsley, who arrives from Olicon Rovers; midfielder Ogbodo Kelechi Emmanuel of Disdeft Football Academy; and attacker midfielder Aniji Ifeanyichukwu Michael of Flying Angels F.CThe Enugu Football Club.
Joel Okoro, Leonard Ugochukwu, Barnabas Ingya, Jonas Emmanuel, and a few more players who were sent on loan to other teams in the premier and lower leagues would be replaced, according to Okolie, by the new players.
Amobi Ezeaku, the CEO of Enugu Rangers, discussed the new players, describing them as good legs that would assist the coaching staff in assembling the ideal squad to contend for league and federation cup titles.
“We are happy that we were able to close these deals, which will undoubtedly provide the coaches the time to make decisions that will enable us to contend for championships both this year and next.
