Don Jazzy addresses rumours of sale of Mavin Records

Michael Collins Ajereh, better known by his stage name Don Jazzy, is a music executive and the CEO of Mavin Records. He has finally responded to the rumors regarding the label’s sale.notes that Mavin Records “is seeking investment or eying a potential full sale with bidding coming from the Universal Music Group, HYBE and strong interest from music asset investors in the financial sector, according to sources,” as stated in a Billboard article from October 2023.
Don Jazzy, however, implied in a recent interview with the Zero Conditions podcast that the company is being approached by investors rather than looking to sell.
He clarified that foreign investors support Mavin Records because it is profitable and has a lot of potential.
