Di’ja Throwa Virtual Live Concerts To Raise Funds For Families Affected By The Coronavirus Pandemic

The eclectic African queen diva, Di’ja has found a way to cross-pollinate two of her most interesting passions – music and charity, as she recently threw two virtual concerts which are now available to stream on her YouTube channel.

The sonorous singer brought the power of her voice and the influence of her music to address the many problems faced by the less-privileged Nigerians amidst these trying times, as she embarks on a gospel to take these issues to the mainstream.

The first concert, partnering with iChange Foundation, saw its proceeds go to catering for families living in remote parts of the country who have been drastically affected by the coronavirus upset, and also families of healthcare practitioners who are at the frontline of the battle against the pandemic.

The resounding success of the first virtual concert birthed the second concert which was held recently to endear her to her teeming fans, and bridge the gap seemingly created by the coronavirus pandemic – which has forced creatives and businesses across sectors to be innovative in their thinking – by employing the power of the new media to connect with fans who seem to have been distanced from music artistes, thanks to the pandemic which has put a halt to live musical events.
