Davido is defended by Israel DMW from Nigerians who make fun of him for not winning a Grammy Award.

Nigerian musician Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, has taken a stance against people making fun of his boss for not winning a Grammy.

As is well known, Davido was consistently made fun of by some Nigerians after he lost all three of his Grammy nominations, a fate that was also experienced by other Nigerian musicians.

Despite the loss, Israel DMW remained devoted to his employer and chastised trolls for making fun of the musician.
He claimed that Davido’s name was still utilized for publicity even though he had not won the prize, so people making fun of him were really making fun of themselves.
Speaking to the trolls, he counseled them to think back on their lives in 20 years and determine whether theywould ever be able to top the Afrobeat star’s accomplishments.
He felt that previous winners might not have been deserving of the honor.
“If you think you’re mocking oga, in an already well-planned event, where oga’s name had to be used to be used as publicity, you’re completely mocking yourself,” he said. Consider your life in 20 years and consider whether you will be superior to oga in any manner. If any previous recipient of this honor ever deserved it, consider their life.
