Calabar: Mayorkun’s stolen necklace has been returned – Iyanya

Following reports that he was robbed of his multi-million naira jewelry while in the city to perform at an event, Nigerian singer Iyanya has revealed that one of his colleague Mayorkun’s necklaces, which were purportedly stolen in Calabar, Cross River State, has been returned. Mayorkun vowed never to perform in Calabar again.
Iyanya had begged the people who had the jewelry to give it back, stating that she would compensate them for their efforts.
On Tuesday afternoon, the musician declared on his X account that one of the necklaces had been returned.
“Thank you the guy who brought this back this morning to THE GRAND HOTEL CALABAR,” Iyanya said on a picture she shared of one of the necklaces bearing the inscription, “The Mayor Of Lagos.”Just One of two pieces of @Mayorkun jewelry has been returned. There is still one to go. Please assist us in returning the second one, my brothers, if you have it.
