We all remember that Seun Kuti turned himself in and was detained at the Lagos State police headquarters, according to police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, who tweeted images of the famous person in handcuffs.

Kuti, the musical superstar and political agitator Fela’s son, was “captured on video assaulting a police officer in uniform,” according to the police. Fela himself was often arrested by military governments in Nigeria.

Online videos purported to show an irate Kuti assaulting a policeman as the As the officer stood next to a police car on a busy Lagos road on Saturday.
