The sensational singer Khaid, real name Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, has disclosed that before comedian Sydney Talker signed him to his label, Neville Records, he worked at a number of low-paying jobs.

Before becoming famous, the 18-year-old stated he had jobs as a painter and an auto mechanic.

He made this revelation while appearing on the Hip TV show Trending, which is hosted by KimOprah, a reality TV personality.

The “Anabella” crooner, however, insisted that his humble professions were only a necessary step in the process and that he had always known he was meant for greatness.

“I see everything as programming,” he declared. As an auto technician at the time, I understood that it was just programmed for me to be there. I knew I had to do it for myself.to have arrived at that moment. I was aware that I would not stay there indefinitely. But I just felt that I had to go through that process because it was going to happen at that time or for something that would happen later on.

At the time, I was aware that it was a process. And I felt comfortable going through the process until I reached my destination.
