American rapper, Lil Durk reveals plans to hold ‘free’ concert in Nigeria

Lil Durk, the well-known American rapper and musician Durk Derrick Banks, has announced that he will be performing at a “free” concert in Nigeria.
This December, the “All My Life” crooner was supposed to perform at an event in Lagos, but he did not show up.
The rapper responded on Saturday morning using his X handle, saying that it wasn’t his fault.

He reaffirmed his affection for Nigeria and said he would soon host a “free” concert there.
“Even though it wasn’t my fault—I didn’t show up for the December event—I got to make the show up for free for Nigeria,” he wrote. You are my family; I will always love you.”
There is a cult-like following of Lil Durk among Nigerian youth, particularly among Generation Z.
His most recent single, “AllLess than 24 hours after its release, “ll My Life,” which featured J.Cole, reached its highest position on Apple Music Nigeria.
