Actor Charles Granville of Nollywood passed away.

Charles Granville was a singer-songwriter, actor, and filmmaker in Nollywood. He passed away.

The family released a statement stating that the actor from “Tinsel” passed away “on Thursday, September 21, 2023, after a protracted illness.”

“Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course,” according to the statement, which was signed by Iyenemri Somiari Granville, a family member.

Granville was the Advisory Committee on Arts and Entertainment’s chairperson until his passing.

His resume featured roles in films such as “Last Flight To Abuja,” “Impossible Relationships,” “Dowry Man,” and the soon-to-be-released “Locked.”
