Well-known Afrobeats performer Wizkid, aka Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has bemoaned how difficult 2023 was for him.In a post on his Instagram story on Sunday night, the artist made this revelation.
He went on to say that he was hoping for a better 2024.

The passing of Wizkid’s mother might have something to do with his revelation.
According to the DAILY POST, Wizkid lost his mother in August 2023 while on a European tour in support of his album, “More Love Less Ego.”

The singer called the event his greatest life agony.
