After receiving financial support, Nigerian actor Jigan Baba Oja withdrew the case he had brought against the legendary Afrobeat musician Asake.

Because one of Jigan’s songs made fun of his condition, he had vowed to sue the single for defamation.

In a subsequent Instagram post, Jigan acknowledged that he had received payment for the offensive lyrics and included a photo of a credit alert with Asake’s complete name on it.

He persisted in pleading with his supporters to stop criticizing the musician and everything he stands for.
