Harrysong, whose real name is Harrison Tare Okiri, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. He was born on March 30, 1981, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria.

Harrysong began his music career in the church choir where he learned how to play the keyboard and drums. In 2007, he moved to Lagos to further his music career and released his debut single, “I’m in Love,” in 2008.

He rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing the hit single “Tribute to Mandela” which was a tribute to the late South African president, Nelson Mandela. Harrysong has since then released several hit songs such as “Reggae Blues,” “Beta Pikin,” “Samankwe,” and “Arabanko.”

Apart from his music career, Harrysong is also a philanthropist. He is the founder of the Harrysong Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on helping underprivileged children in Nigeria.

In 2019, Harrysong released his EP titled “Kingmaker” which features collaborations with top Nigerian artists such as Davido, Patoranking, and Seyi Shay.

Harrysong has won several awards in his career, including the Headies Award for Best R&B/Pop Album in 2013 and the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards for Best Soundtrack in 2018.
