Bwala Reacts After Oby Ezekwesili Said That Atiku Was Not The Head of Economic Management Team

A Peoples Democratic Party presidential campaign spokesperson, Daniel Bwala has reacted after Obiageli Ezekwesili, a former Nigerian minister said Atiku Abubakar, the flagbearer of the PDP lied that he was the head of economic management team during president Olusegun Obasanjo’s tenure.

Recall that Atiku served as Obasanjo’s VP.

Ezekwesili, former minister of Education had on Tuesday challenged Atiku Abubakar to stop saying he is the head of the economic management,

“Dear former Vice president Atiku…You were never the head economic management team”

Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign spokesperson, Daniel Bwala was asked to react to that on Arise News Morning Show program.

Daniel Bwala reacted, listen to him,

“I respect Oby Ezekwesili, she is a very intellectual woman but everybody knows she is supporting Peter Obi…who is the chairman of the comic council, the Vice President, the head of the economic team and members of the economic team come with proposals, come and discuss policy issues, not a single one of them can bypass the Vice President and meet the president on the subject of the economy except if the president independently summon them.

The procedure is when you have deliberated, the vice president who is the chair will take it and discuss with the president on the findings.”

Bwala then said that between the chairman and the manager of an organisation who is more important. He said the chairman is Vice President and the head of the economic team.
