Sahara Journalists, in its reports on Saturday guaranteed that 64 ledgers have been found to be connected to the Bank Check Number of Obasa and enlisted with different names, purportedly being utilized to siphon public supports in Lagos.

In any case, the speaker told PM News on Saturday night that the story was undeniably manufactured and that he didn’t have such records connected to BVN, as guaranteed by Sahara Journalists.

As he had done in the past, Obasa stated that he did not want to respond to each and every story published by the online news platform.

He stated, “We have debunked several of its publications and don’t want to respond to him again.”

The speaker claimed that the majority of the numbers and names published by Sahara Reporters were duplicates and that the owner of the online platform was being paid to commit heinous acts on behalf of his paymaster.

On whether he would institute a legal action against the online platform, he said grounds were being prepared for that, but said he would not be reacting to Sahara Reporters stories again.

Earlier, Sahara Reporters alleged that the BVN: 2296663231, reveals that Obasa operated accounts with multiple names in Polaris Bank, Zenith Bank, Access Bank, Ecobank Nigeria, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, United Bank for Africa, First City Monument Bank and Wema Bank.

The online platform further alleged that to conceal his identity, the Speaker changed his name and date of birth in some of the accounts and that aside from using Ajayi Mudashiru Obasa, he also used Obasa Abdulrahman Gbadunola and Gabriel Adedoyin Savage to register some of the bank accounts.
